Rebuilding a website
Keep what the old site earned.
An old website is embarrassing and valuable at the same time. The design has aged, but the addresses are in search results, bookmarks and printed leaflets, and the copy holds facts nobody has written down anywhere else. A rebuild that throws that away starts from further back than it looks.
Read the old site first.
The web crawler walks the existing website to the depth you choose and lists every page it finds, with checkboxes. For each page it can scrape the content — meta title, description, keywords, the text and the OpenGraph — analyse it with AI, and add it to the new project's sitemap as a page. In bulk: scrape all, analyse the selected, prepare the selected.
The web checker answers the narrower question about one address: what this page is, what properties it has and what is on it. Useful for the pages the crawler cannot reach from the menu.
Generate the new project from the old URL.
Or go straight to the end: generate a project with AI from a prompt and the source website's address. The sitemap generator does the same for the page tree, and page generation can scrape a source URL per page, drawing on components from this project or rated ones.
Either way, the result is ordinary pages and blocks, not an imported copy of old markup. The old design does not come with it, which is the point.
Then regenerate META for all pages. The old titles were written for a site structure that no longer exists; "Analyze all pages" shows which ones still make sense.
- 1CrawlDepth 3. 64 pages found, 41 kept.
- 2ScrapeContent, META and OpenGraph for the 41.
- 3AnalyseAI groups them: 6 services, 18 articles, the rest merged.
- 4PreparePages added to the new sitemap as drafts.
- !Redirects/oferta.php → /services/ as 301. One per retired URL.
- 5CheckWeb checker on the ten most linked old addresses.

301 from every old URL
The redirection list takes each retired address and sends it, permanently, to its new home.
Preview before DNS
Publish to cstmui.com or share a preview code while the old site still runs, and switch the domain last. See publishing.
llms.txt
Write or generate a public description for LLMs, so the new structure is described as well as it is built.
Which plan
PRO, €300 a month. The web crawler and migration tools are PRO features. If the old site's content came from a database, PRO also connects it as an external source. Team at €500 a seat when an agency and the client work on the rebuild together. Compare plans.
Questions
Does the crawler copy the old design?
No. It takes the content and META; the new pages are built from castomUI components.
What about pages nobody links to?
The crawler only finds what is linked. Check the rest one by one with the web checker and add redirects for them too.
Can I rebuild a site I do not own?
Crawl and scrape sites you have the right to use. Rebuilding your own or a client's site is what this is for.
Archaeological finding: every old site has one page from 2014 that brings in a surprising share of the enquiries. The crawler will find it. Redirect it with care.
