About
We built the tool we kept wishing we had.
castomUI started as the editor behind the websites the castomo family builds for itself and for its clients. It grew windows because the job needed them, data because the websites needed it, and AI because the first version of a page is the part nobody should have to type twice.
Why it exists.
Building websites for a living teaches you where the time goes, and it is rarely where people think. The design is a week. The rest is structure, content, pictures, translations, the product list that changed again, the SEO the old site had quietly earned, and a lot of waiting for people to look at things.
Most tools optimise the week. castomUI is our attempt at the rest: one project where the page, the component behind it, the data feeding it, the note about it and the publisher that ships it are all open at once — and where AI takes the typing out of first drafts without taking the decisions out of anyone's hands.
What we hold ourselves to
Four rules the editor is built on.
Your work stays readable
Components are HTML, CSS and JavaScript you can open, and a project can be pushed to GitHub. A website you cannot take with you is a lease, not a website.
People publish, not models
AI drafts; pages arrive as drafts; drafts do not publish. The fastest way to ruin a good tool is to let it say things in a customer's name that nobody read.
No surprises on your site
No badge in your footer, no tracking we added, nothing on the published website that you did not put there. This site keeps the same promise: no cookies, and no scripts from other companies.
Websites are team sport
Roles, notes, chat and — on Team — screen sharing and co-working are part of the editor, not a separate product you have to connect.
Made in Wrocław,
by people who build websites on it every day.
Who is behind it.
castomUI is made and sold by Castomo P.S.A., a company registered in Wrocław, Poland. The same company makes the rest of the castomo family: castomAPI, the platform the AI and the media library run on; dash-b for dashboards; FABLS for blogs and social channels; iKonekt for customer conversations; clickSomo for messaging; castomFLOW for workflows; castoMIND, which assembles whole products — websites included.
One castomo account signs into all of them and one wallet pays for them, which is the practical reason the family exists: the website you build here can be written for by FABLS, measured by Observer and fed by castomAPI without anybody wiring three vendors together.

Where it is going.
The direction is set by the projects built on it: more of the work around a website moving into the same workspace, and less of it leaving for e-mail, spreadsheets and other people's tools. If there is something your team still does outside castomUI that you would rather do inside it, that is exactly the message we want.
For the record: this website was built on the same scaffold as every other castomo site, and it still took longer to agree on the headline than to build the page.
