Collaboration

The designer, the copywriter and the client,in the same workspace.

A website is usually built over e-mail, a chat app, a shared drive and a spreadsheet of changes nobody trusts. castomUI keeps the conversation beside the thing it is about: notes pinned to elements, a project chat with its own AI tab, roles for everyone invited, and screenshots you can draw on to point at the problem.

A workspace of windows,
arranged your way.

The editor is a windowed workspace. Pages, Blocks, Components, Templates, Media, Datasets, Menus, Settings, Publish, Notes and Chat each open as a movable window beside a live preview of the site.

The Windows manager saves a layout and opens it again. The person writing copy keeps Pages, Blocks and Notes open; the person building keeps Components and the code editor; the person reviewing keeps the preview large and the Chat beside it. Same project, three shapes of desk.

Who can do what

Three roles,
invited by e-mail.

An invitation takes a first name, a last name, an e-mail address and a role. For people who only need to look, the project's preview code shows a hidden preview without an invitation at all, and a project can be switched to read-only mode when it should be looked at rather than changed.

Owner

For the people the project belongs to — the business, or the agency responsible for it.

Editor

For the people who build and write the site day to day — the designer, the developer, the copywriter.

Viewer

For the people who need to follow the project rather than change it — a client, a manager, a reviewer.

Notes that know what they are about.

A note in castomUI is short, internal and attached to an element — a page, a block, a component. "Show element" opens that element's window, so nobody has to describe where the problem is.

Replies are threaded, so a question and its answer stay together. Notes sit in groups you order by dragging; a group can be private for your own to-do list, and notifications tell people when something needs them.

The examples on the right are invented for this page. The shape is the point: every note is one click from the thing it is about.

Talking about the work

Chat, screenshots,
and a separate tab for the AI.

Project chat

Communication that stays with the project, with threaded replies and a jump straight to the element a message is about.

AI-only and humans-only

Separate tabs for conversations with the AI and conversations between people, so a long exchange with the assistant never buries the client's question.

Screenshots you draw on

Capture a page, then draw on the screenshot to explain what should move, grow or go. Faster than a paragraph, and harder to misread.

The Team plan:
working together, live.

Everything above is part of how castomUI works. The Team plan, at €500 per seat per month, adds the part that matters when many people are in a project at the same moment: screen sharing and advanced real-time co-working.

It is for the agency running a review with a client on the call, the in-house team building a large site in parallel, and anyone who has lost an afternoon to two people editing the same page in turn. Every seat on Team carries the full product, so nobody in the room is working with half the tools.

On feedback: "can you make the logo bigger" arrives either way. Here it arrives as a note on the logo, which is at least a start.

Questions

The ones teams ask first.

Does a client need an account to see the site?

Not to look at it. Share the project's preview code and they see the hidden preview. To bring them into the project itself, invite them with the role that fits.

Can I keep some notes to myself?

Yes. A note group can be private, and only you see what is in it.

Are AI conversations kept apart from the team's?

Yes. The chat has separate tabs for AI-only and humans-only conversations.

Is one sign-in enough across the family?

Yes. A castomo account signs into castomUI and every other castomo product, including dash-b.

one website.
