Questions

The ones people actually ask

Why is there no free tier?

Because a website builder on a free tier is paid for by something else — adverts on your site, a badge in your footer, or a limit that turns off the day your campaign goes live. We would rather charge for the tool honestly and put nothing on your website that you did not put there.

How does yearly billing work?

You pay once for the year at ten times the monthly price, so two months of the twelve cost nothing. The plan, the seats and every feature are exactly the same as monthly.

Can I move from monthly to yearly later?

Yes. Write to us and we will move the account to yearly billing, so you keep your projects exactly as they are and start saving from the next payment.

Do I pay per website or per page?

Neither. A seat can work on as many projects as it needs. The price follows the people who build, not the size of what they build.

Does everyone on a project need a seat?

Everyone who builds does. On Team, seats are what give people their role, their place in the chat and their share of the screen — which is exactly what you are paying for.

What happens to published sites if I stop paying?

Editing stops with the subscription. Anything you published to your own domain or to GitHub is already a set of files you hold. Write to us before you stop and we will make sure you leave with everything.

The arithmetic
worth doing.

Compare a seat with the work it replaces, not with another builder. A small website rebuilt by hand is weeks of somebody's time; a landing page per campaign is days, every campaign; a translation per language is a supplier and a round of corrections. A month of Regular costs about one afternoon of that.

The honest bit: the most expensive website is still the one that is finished in the builder and never published because nobody agreed on the headline. No plan fixes that. The notes window helps a little.
